Introduced in the Timber Stage

Game Use: In the Timber & Elder Stages, habitat cards are affected by weather. There are two (2) types of Weather cards: Clouds & Trends. Each habitat can have one cloud & one trend card. Weather cards can change a habitat's climate and enable powerful natural disasters to wipe out trees.

Description: There are four (4) different Trend cards. Trend cards identify the effects of long term weather and habitat phenomenon such as: droughts; saturated soils; and canopy gaps. Each card influences the climate and growth patterns of Mighty Trees much as the real world counterpart would affect a real habitat. The card shows the name and a picture of the trend. Real World Applications: By reading and playing the trend cards you can learn how long term phenomenon affect the growth of trees in different habitats.
